Sibley County libraries are still open online

An online video library, Creativebug, is the newest online option for patrons of the Sibley County Library System.
As part of Minnesota’s Stay-At-Home approach to mitigating the COVID-19 pandemic, public library buildings are closed, but SCLS is still working to serve its patrons. Library directors are still on the job inside the buildings keeping up with behind-the-scenes work, and outside the library buildings, patrons can still access the libraries’ public wi-fi.


Several online services such as Overdrive/Libby, eLibrary Minnesota, and MNLINK. Creativebug is the newest online resource for SCLS patrons. It provides unlimited access to thousands of online art, craft, and hobby classes. Since classes never expire, patrons can start and stop projects at their own pace. People of all skill levels can work alongside instructors to learn craft techniques.
