The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. Members: Brian Brandt, Laura Reid, Missy Weber, Sarah Ziegler, Avery Grochow, and Jon Hazelwood were present.
Member Grochow moved, second by Member Hazelwood, to approve the agenda. The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
VISITOR/GUEST COMMENTS: Bill Schulte addressed the Board concerning the use of the name Sibley East for summer baseball team(s).
CONSENT AGENDA: Approval of Minutes: Recommend approval of October 21, 2019, Regular School Board Meeting Minutes. RESOLUTION RELATING TO COMBINED POLLING PLACES ESTABLISHED FOR 2020 SCHOOL DISTRICT SPECIAL ELECTIONS
WHEREAS, Independent School District No. 2310 (Sibley East Public Schools) may have independent elections within the County of Sibley;
WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 205A.11, subd. 2, when no other election is being held in a school district, the Board may designate combined polling places at which the voters in those precincts may vote in the school district election.
WHEREAS, by December 31 of each year, the school board must designate, by resolution, combined polling places. The combined polling places designated in the resolution are the polling places for the following calendar year, unless a change is made: (a) pursuant to section 204B.175; or (b) because a polling place has become unavailable.
WHEREAS, if the school board designates combined polling places pursuant to this subdivision, polling places must be designated throughout the district, taking into account both geographical distribution and population distribution. A combined polling place must be at a location designated for use as a polling place by a county or municipality.
BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of Independent School District No. 2310 (Sibley East Public Schools), State of Minnesota as follows:
The Board hereby establishes combined polling places to serve all of the precincts located within the boundaries of Sibley East School District No. 2310 and the voting hours shall be determined per election. The polling places are as follows:

The School District’s Clerk (the “Clerk”) is hereby authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this resolution with the County Auditor-Treasurer of Sibley and Nicollet counties by December 31, 2019 for the next calendar year.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was made by Member Weber, duly seconded by Member Grochow, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Members Hazelwood, Reid, Brandt, Weber, Grochow, Ziegler and the following voted against the same: None
Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

Consider proposal from Larson Engineering for Tennis Court Rehabilitation at the Arlington sports complex. Member Hazelwood moved, second by Member Reid to approve the proposal from Larson Engineering for Tennis Court Rehabilitation at the Arlington sports complex. Motion was approved by 5-0 vote. Member Grochow abstained.
Approve Bills and Payments: Recommend approval of November 2019 bills totaling $1,356,820.03. Member Grochow moved, second by Member Ziegler to approve November 2019 bills and payments totaling $1,356,820.03. The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
Review and approve 2020 Sibley East School Board Calendar to include Organizational, Special and Regular School Board Meeting dates. Member Weber moved, second by Member Hazelwood to approve the proposed 2020 Sibley East School Board Calendar as presented (5:00pm start on March 16th, 2020 and May 18th, 2020). The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
Review and approve Teacher Seniority List for 2019-20. Member Weber moved, second by Member Ziegler, to approve the 2019-20 Teacher Seniority List. The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
Consider approval of 9 Month Work Agreement for Sibley East Paraprofessionals and Food Service Staff. Motion by Member Grochow, second by Member Hazelwood to accept the 9 Month Work Agreement for Sibley East Paraprofessionals and Food Service Staff as written. The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
Review offers of purchase for surplus school vehicles: 2007 Dodge Sprinter Van and 2000 Mercury Villager Van. Motion by Member Grochow, second by Member Reid to continue to accept offers until December 11th, 2016 in absence of any current offers. The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
