Shanise Bates, a junior on the Sibley East varsity girls volleyball team, was recently named to the Minnesota River Conference All Conference Girls Volleyball Team.
Bates, an outside hitter, finished the season with 155 kills and 227 digs. She received 451 serves in the regular season which was 100 more than any of her teammates.

Sibley East senior Arayah St. John was chosen as honorable mention to the all conference team.
St. John, an outside hitter, led the team with 39 service aces. Defensively, she was second on the team in serves received, serve receive percentage and digs in the regular season.  Offensively she contributed 68 kills with relatively few errors.
