Moratorium ordinance on new businesses selling tobacco-related products is tabled

The Arlington City Council, during its regular meeting on Monday night, Nov. 4, unanimously approved a motion to table the second reading of Ordinance 327 - a resolution approving Ordinance 327, entitled, “An interim ordinance establishing a moratorium on the establishment of a business selling commercial tobacco, tobacco-related devices and electronic delivery devices and nicotine and lobeia delivery products within the City of Arlington.

In addition, the City Council unanimously approved a motion to table the related resolution for the proposed ordinance.
