Elaine Hebeisen, 83, of Arlington, and formerly of Green Isle, passed away at the Ridgeview Sibley Medical Center on Wednesday, March 11.
A funeral  service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Green Isle, at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 19.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the church on Thursday, March 19.
Elaine was born to Alford and Evelyn (Soeffker) Voigt in Arlington on Nov. 2, 1936. She was baptized at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Arlington on Nov. 22, 1936. She was confirmed in Christian faith.
On Feb. 20, 1954, she married Alloyd Hebeisen. They shared 56 years of marriage before he passed away in 2010.  They were blessed with five children.
Elaine enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, sewing, quilting and especially making baby blankets and bibs.  Her biggest love was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by children, Tim (Holly) Hebeisen, Judy (Randy) Wagner, Connie (Barry) Thomes, Shelly (Jeff) Matz, and Stacie (Brian) Thomes; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, LaVonne (Melvin) Byer, Betty Latzke, and Cindy (Lee) Johnson; and many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by husband, Alloyd; parents, Alford and Evelyn; and brothers, Duane, Daryl and Kenny.
