Harder files for re-election in MN House of Representatives

Bobbie Harder

State Representative Bobbie Harder, R-Henderson Township, filed this week to run for re-election for the Minnesota House in District 17B which includes portions of Sibley, Carver, and McLeod Counties.

“The last two years have been a disaster for families and businesses in Minnesota, and I’m running for re-election to ensure our district continues to have strong conservative leadership as we look to restore balance at the Capitol,” Harder said. “I’ve been honored to earn endorsements from Minnesota’s leading conservative organizations, and to once again be the Republican-endorsed candidate for 17B. I look forward to meeting with voters and hearing from them about their priorities in the months ahead.”

Harder and her husband, Neal, are farmers, growing corn and soybeans. As the current state representative, Harder serves on the Agriculture Policy and Finance Committee.

“Minnesota agriculture is important to our state,” Harder said. “Legislation passed must be agriculture friendly. Everyone who is actively engaged in farming should have the opportunity to benefit from legislation passed.”

Harder was first elected in 2022, earning 96.74% of the vote in an uncontested race. She previously served as a Sibley County commissioner for two terms. Harder has been involved in several local organizations including serving as deputy clerk for Henderson Township, Henderson Lions Club, Minnesota Farm Bureau, A.B.A.T.E, and more.
