The Sibley East varsity boys track team placed second during the annual Lions Invitational in Arlington on Friday afternoon, May 3.

Le Sueur-Henderson took top honors with 139 team  points while Sibley East finished second with 114 team points. Minnesota Valley Lutheran (106), G-F-W (72), Minneapolis Roosevelt (31), New Life Academy (22), Lester Prairie-Holy Trinity (20) and Norwood Young America (12) rounded out the field.

First place winners for Sibley East were Jens Lundstrom (400 meter dash), 4 X 200 meter relay team (Brevon Rose, Oscar Kreft, Lucas Tesch and Keegan Effertz), 4 X 400 meter relay team (Jens Lundstrom, Brevon Rose, Jose Nevarez and Travis Andrews) and 4 X 800 meter relay team (Jens Lundstrom, Micah Scherer, Jose Nevarez and Travis Andrews).
