The Sibley East School Board, during its regular meeting in Arlington on Monday night, Sept. 16, unanimously approved a motion to accept a $3,900 quote from Zahl Equipment Services, Mankato, to remove the underground fuel storage tank at the bus garage site in Gaylord.

School Board members Brian Brandt, Avery Grochow, Jon Hazelwood, Laura Reid, Missy Weber and Sarah Ziegler all voted in support of the motion.

According to Superintendent Jim Amsden, the underground fuel storage tank will hopefully be removed sometime this fall.
