The Arlington City Council has lost its patience over the noise and odor complaints at Northland Drying and decided to take stiff action against the local business during its regular meeting on Monday night, Oct. 7.

The City Council unanimously approved a motion to authorize City Attorney Ross Arneson to send a proposal to Northland Drying and finally resolve the noise and odor issues.

The City of Arlington, according to the proposal, will request that Northland Drying cease nighttime operations until it develops a detailed plan of action to determine the source of the noise issues and find a solution to resolve the noise and odor issues with a definite deadline.
