NOTICE OF MORTGAGE
FORECLOSURE SALE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN,
that default has occurred in the conditions of that certain mortgage, dated August 16, 2000, executed by Colleen M. Connolly, a single person, as Mortgagor, to Arlington State Bank, as Mortgagee, filed with the Sibley County Recorder on August 28, 2000, as Document No. A-179503;
That no action or proceeding has been instituted at law to recover the debt secured by said mortgage, or any part thereof; that there has been compliance with all notice provisions and conditions precedent as required by law; and that the mortgagee or assignee has elected to declare the entire sum secured by the note and mortgage to be immediately due and payable as provided in the note and mortgage;
That the original or maximum principal amount secured by the mortgage was Fifty-One Thousand Four Hundred Fifty and No/100 DOLLARS ($51,450.00);
That there is due and claimed to be due on the mortgage, including interest to date hereof, the sum of Fifty-One Thousand Eight Hundred Forty-Six and 27/100 DOLLARS ($51,846.27);
And that pursuant to the power of sale therein contained, said mortgage will be foreclosed and the tracts of land lying and being in the County of Sibley, State of Minnesota, described as follows, to-wit:

TIME AND DATE TO VACATE PROPERTY:  If the real estate is an owner-occupied, single-family dwelling, unless otherwise provided by law, the date on or before which the mortgagor(s) must vacate the property if the mortgage is not reinstated under Section 580.30 or the property is not redeemed under Section 580.23 is 11:59 p.m. on April 11, 2020.

MULTIPLE DECEDENTS
Judy Ann Schwanke (“Petitioner”), has filed a Petition for Determination of Descent, Multiple Decedents. It is Ordered that on October 1, 2019, at 10:45 a.m., a hearing will be held in the Sibley County Courthouse located at 400 Court Avenue, Gaylord, Minnesota, on these petitions.
The petitions represent that each of the Decedents died intestate more than three (3) years ago leaving property in Minnesota. The petitions request the Court determine the descent of real property owned by the Decedents at the time of their death, and assign the property to the persons entitled in a consolidated proceeding.
Any objections to the petitions must be raised at the hearing or filed with the Court prior to the hearing. If the petitions are proper and no objections are filed or raised, the petitions will be granted.
Notice shall be given by publishing this Notice and Order as provided by law and by:
Mailing a copy of this Notice and Order to each interested person by United States mail at least 14 days before the time set for the hearing.

MONDAY, AUGUST 19, 2019 @ 6:30 P.M.

The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. Members: Brian Brandt, Laura Reid, Sarah Ziegler, Missy Weber, Avery Grochow and Jon Hazelwood were present.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA:  Member Reid moved, second by member Weber, to approve the agenda.  The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
VISITOR COMMENTS: None
CONSENT AGENDA: Approval of Minutes-Recommend approval of Regular School Board Meeting Minutes from July 15th, 2019. Personnel: Resigna-tion(s): Hunter Retzlaff-Jr. High Wrestling, Kevin Effertz, 8th grade volleyball, Alicia Klehr, Preschool Teacher. Hires: Tara Henke-Preschool Teacher Tara Henke-C Volleyball (Step 1: $3250), Andrew Thies-Assistant Cross Country Coach (Step 2 $3,353), Jill Bussler-8th Grade Volleyball (Step 1: $2,490). OLD/ UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
Approval of Sibley East School District E-Learning plan for the 2019-2020 school year. Member Reid moved, second by Member Hazelwood, to approve the E-Learning Plan for 2019-2020. The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
Approval of Sibley East Elementary standards based report card plan for the 2019-2020 school year. Member Weber moved, second by Member Grochow, to approve the Sibley East Elementary standards based report card plan for the 2019-2020 school year. The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
Approve 2019-2020 School Calendar updates. Member Ziegler moved, second by Member Hazelwood, to approve November 1, 2019 as teacher in-service and planned E-Learning Day and February 20th, 2020, K-5 conference date will be moved to March 24th, 2020. The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
NEW BUSINESS:
Career and Technical Education Presentation- Tracie Bjorklund. Member Reid moved, second by Member Grochow, to approve the addition of part-time Sibley East Career and Technical Education Coordinator for 2019-2020. The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
Approve Sibley East High School Student Activities Independent Provider of Extra-Curricular Program for Sibley East Bowling. Member Weber moved, second by Member Hazelwood to approve the Independent Provider Extra-Curricular Program Application for the Sibley East High School Bowling Team as presented. The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
Accept buy back quote from Second Life Mac for Apple iPad 3rd Generation devices. Member Reid moved, second by Member Ziegler to accept the quote from Second Life Mac for the purchase of Apple iPad 3rd Generation devices. The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
Motion by Member Reid, second by Member Ziegler to table proposals for drain tile and bituminous patch work at Gaylord Elementary to gather further information and move it to follow item 10 Accepting Donations. The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
St. Paul’s Parking lot lease and proposal for resurfacing and grading. Member Weber moved, second by Member Ziegler to approve the St. Paul’s parking lot lease agreement and resurfacing and grading proposal. The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
Approve December 16th, 2019, 6:00pm Arlington Campus Media Center as the date and location for the annual Truth in Taxation hearing. Member Hazelwood moved, second by Member Reid, to approve December 16th, 2019, 6:00pm Arlington Campus Media Center as the date and location for the annual Truth in Taxation hearing. The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
Bills and Payments: Recommend approval of August 2019 bills totaling $1,378,989.89. Member Ziegler moved, second by Member Reid to approve the August 2019 bills totaling $1,378,989.89. The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
Approval of the 2019-20 Sibley East Preschool Handbook as written. Member Hazelwood moved, seconded by Member Grochow to approve the 2019-20 Sibley East Preschool Handbook as written. The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
Approval of the 2019-20 Project Ed 21 Handbook  as written. Member Weber moved, seconded by Member Hazelwood to approve the 2019-20 Project Ed 21 Handbook as written. The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
Accept the following donations: $25.00, Drama Department-RW &RE Nagel, $1,000.00, FFA Jacket Donation-Jim Swanson, $8597.94, Trap Team-Gaylord Game Protective (raffle),  School Supplies-Esther Kuebler, Beethoven Bust- Zelora Lentz. Member Grochow moved, seconded by Member Hazelwood to accept the donations with gratitude. The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
Accept quote to complete drain tile and bituminous patch work at the Gaylord Elementary bus loop. Member Weber moved, second by Member to accept the quote from WM Mueller and Sons to complete drain tile and bituminous patch work, not to exceed $43,000, at the Gaylord Elementary bus loop. The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
CLOSED SESSION- IN ACCORDANCE WITH DISTRICT POLICY 205 SECTION E. SUBD 1. AND MS 13D.03 SUBDIV(1)b —LABOR NEGOTIATIONS SIBLEY EAST EDUCATION MINNESOTA. Motion by Member Reid, seconded by member Hazelwood,  to recess the Regular School Board Meeting and move to a closed session in accordance with district policy 205 Section E. SUBD 1 and MS 13D.03   Subdiv(1)b-Labor Negotiations Sibley East Education Minnesota. The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
Motion by Member Ziegler, second by Member Grochow, to conclude the closed session at 8:20pm. The motion was approved by unanimous vote.
PRINCIPAL REPORTS: None
SUPERINTENDENT REPORT: Superintendent Amsden updated the Board on the Back to School Schedule and completion of punch list items at the Arlington MS/HS site.
OTHER INFORMATION: Upcoming School Board Meeting Dates: Monday, September 16th, 2019 @ 6:30 p.m. Arlington Campus Media Center.
ADJOURNMENT: Member Grochow moved, second by Member Weber to adjourn the meeting. The motion was approved by unanimous vote. The meeting was adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
