A resolution to accept the low bid for the proposed 2019 Street & Utility Improvement Project, minus the sidewalks, failed by a 3-2 vote at the Arlington City Council meeting on Monday night, May 6.

City Council members Adam Cowell and James Jaszewski voted in favor of the resolution. City Council members Michelle Battcher, Tom Hatlestad and Jim Heiland voted against the resolution.

The City Council took the vote after it received input from residents during an Assessment Hearing earlier in the evening and after a lengthy discussion during the regular meeting that followed.
