Street project is now a go in Arlington

The Arlington City Council, during a special meeting on Monday night, May 13, voted 3-2 and adopted a resolution to accept a revised low bid of $2,382,770.76 from William Mueller & Sons, Hamburg, for the 2019 Street & Utility Improvement Project.


The resolution included $64,500 in value engineering savings from the original low bid of $2,447,270.76. The project will also include sidewalks on the north side of Clinton Street.


A resolution to accept the low bid for the proposed 2019 Street & Utility Improvement Project, minus the sidewalks, failed by a 3-2 vote at the Arlington City Council meeting on Monday night, May 6.
