The Sibley East VFW baseball team, after a very successful regular season, dropped a pair of games in the VFW Sub District Baseball Tournament at Walsh Field in Gaylord earlier this week.
Sibley East, under the direction of head coach Dan Hoefs and assistant coach Joe Kreger, finish the season with a 10-3 record overall.

The Sibley East VFW baseball team lost to Mound 5-3 during the opening round of the VFW Sub District Baseball Tournament on Monday afternoon, July 15.
The game was knotted at 1-1 after four innings until Sibley East surrendered four runs in the final three frames and fell behind 5-1.
