At their regular Sibley CEast School Board meeting on Monday night, July 15, Jim Wilson from Wendel Architects and Preston Euerle of RA Morton provided School Board members with an update on hallway 1060 and the hallway 1020 ramp corrections.  

Wilson reported that Evenson Concrete Systems and their sub-contractor CCU came back and ground hallway 1060 which was reviewed by Superintendent Jim Amsden and Wilson. They  found that it was now compliant and accepted it.  

Euerle reported that unfortunately Evenson and CCU mobilized off-site before finishing the hallway 1020 ramp.  Euerle said he spoke with Evenson during the day and that they were meeting with another grinding company who may be able to grind that hallway if CCU is unable to return and finish it.  Euerle assured School Board members that Evenson would bring in someone to finish the hallway 1020 ramp before school begins.
