The Sibley East varsity girls softball team was edged by visiting Belle Plaine 3-2 in Minnesota River Conference action on Tuesday afternoon, April 9.

The Lady Wolverines surrendered the winning run in the top of the seventh inning.

Sophomore Alivia Strack paced Sibley East’s six-hit attack with a single and a double. Senior Sydney Schott collected two singles while senior Morgan Mathews and junior Arayah St. John added one single each.
