The visiting Sibley East varsity football team, in a game that went down to the final play, blanked Norwood Young America 6-0 on Friday night, Oct. 4.

The host team, without a timeout remaining, completed a long pass down to the Sibley East 2-yard line, but the final seconds ticked off the clock as the Wolverines walked away with the shutout.

Both teams had opportunities and dodged bullets as the first half was scoreless.

The Wolverines scored their lone touchdown on a 15-yard pass from junior quarterback Caleb Dose to sophomore wide receiver Tucker Hendrycks.
