The Sibley East School Board, during a nearly two-hour special meeting in Arlington on Tuesday night, April 9, took some action on the floor issue at the Middle School/High School in Arlington.

The School Board voted 5-0 and approved a motion to have a contractor grind the entire area of hall 1060 and hold off on the ramp area of hall 1020 for now. As part of the motion, the School Board also requested an illustrated computerized image of a stained or painted border for the four ramps to help mask the poor grinding. The work will be conducted during an approximate 10-day period this summer.
