Noise testing results are reviewed at last meeting

The Arlington City Council, during a special meeting on Monday night, May 13, held discussion in regard to Northland Drying and its compliance with the city requirement for noise level testing.
Northland Drying representative Josh Howell reviewed the recent four-day noise testing results conducted by ESI Engineering, Minneapolis.
There was a total of 96 hours of data, according to the report. The noise code was met in a majority of the hourly measurements with only five hours where the noise code was exceeded. The accident, according to the report, were caused by transient sources and not the dryer exhaust system.
