The Arlington City Council, during its regular meeting on Monday night, July 15, unanimously approved a motion to accept a letter of resignation from City Council member Jim Heiland.

His resignation will be effective after the regular meeting on Monday night, Aug. 19.

City Council members Michelle Battcher, Adam Cowell, Tom Hatlestad, Jim Heiland and James Jaszewski all voted in support of the motion.
