A public hearing for an interim use permit to continue  allowing Northland Drying to maintain storage units on site was held in Arlington on Monday night, May 6.

Although the public hearing was about the interim use permit, the comments from people in attendance focused on the noise issue at the local facility. Possible penalties were also discussed by the City Council.

City Administrator Pat Mel-vin reported that Northland Drying failed to meet the by May 4 deadline to complete and provide noise testing results conducted by ESI Engineers to verify compliance under state statute.
